Gail has been teaching piano since 1992 after earning her Bachelors degree in Applied Music from Grand Canyon University. She desires to encourage her students to develop a love for music that will give them a lifetime of enjoyment.
Her studio includes both children and adults in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. A variety of lesson lengths are available (30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 1 hour). Theory, technique, sight reading, ear training, composing, improvisation, and music history are part of her lessons in both private and group settings. She also provides recitals and other events for performance opportunities. Participation in ASP is encouraged and her students have consistently received high ratings.
She has also been an accompanist for several church choirs, girls choirs and school choirs in the past 20 years. She is a member of PMTA and ASMTA and has served in many positions within those organizations. She is a member of and nationally certified by MTNA.
Gail first learned piano from her dad and later began formal lessons at age 8. Gail resides in Garden Lakes in Avondale with her husband, Harvey, and dog, Max.
