About Liz G. Owens |

Liz G. Owens has over 20 years experience as a private piano instructor. She studied music at BYU, receiving her B.A. in 1983. Mrs. Owens taught privately in Idaho, Hawaii, and Texas before moving to Arizona in 1987, where she currently maintains a large piano studio in the Northeast Phoenix area. She is married to Karl S. Owens and they have 4 beautiful children. Liz has been an accompanist and choir director for many years and enjoys conducting for the Phoenix Piano Ensemble. She has been actively involved in many music organizations including MTNA, ASMTA, and NFMC and recently completed a two year term serving as President of Phoenix Music Teachers Association. She has served on the State board of ASMTA as Vice-President of Publications and Editor of the MusiGram. Liz proudly declares that she has studied from the best teachers in the nation -- her students! |
