Dr. Joshua Hillmann, an accomplished piano instructor and performer, combines professional expertise with a down-to-earth teaching style that is both fun and engaging. Whether you're an advanced and experienced pianist or have never touched a piano before, we can help you achieve your musical and pianistic goals! Dr. Hillmann provides an excellent option for families and individuals seeking expert instruction with a personalized approach. Dr. Hillmann holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Arizona State University, studying with Dr. Baruch Meir for both. He teaches group and individual piano as music faculty at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, is the worship pianist at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, sings professionally for the Grammy-winning Phoenix Chorale and Grammy-nominated True Concord, and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM).
