2025 Music Selections, Recordings, and Notes
This page contains everything pertaining to the ensemble music: the music selection schedule with audio and/or YouTube video file links for selecting music, as well as the practice recordings with conductors’ notes for students to use when preparing their audition videos.
Music Selection Recordings:
These recordings are intended for teachers and students to listen to the pieces only for the purpose of choosing repertoire. These recordings are not to be used as practice recordings.
Audio or YouTube video recordings of this year’s music selections are posted here:
Audio/Video Recording Samples:
Simply click Music Selection Form, then click on the hyperlinked title of the piece you wish to hear.
Practice Recordings, Conductors’ Notes and Audition Videos:
All conductors have made audio recordings of the individual primo and secondo parts of the ensemble music selections. The links to the audio recordings and conductor’s notes for each of your participating students are listed below.
Please note:
- These recordings are to help your students practice in preparation for their audition video and the in-person rehearsals.
- These recordings are at the slower audition recording metronome speed that is listed in the Conductors’ Notes. (See Conductors’ Notes below.) Please print a copy of the conductor’s notes for each student and place that page in their black ensemble binder.
- The audio files are best opened with Windows Media Player. If you are having trouble, please check that Windows Media Player is set as your default. You may also right click on each piece, select “save as” and save the file to your Documents folder. If you would like to download Windows Media Player, please visit Microsoft’s Windows Media Player webpage.
Note: For your convenience, you can either copy and paste all three columns for your piece/part, and save it, or you can simply return to this web page.
