Teacher Referral Service

All PMTA teachers wanting student referrals will be listed on the website, and can be found by name, location, and instrument(s). By clicking on a teacher’s name, visitors are taken to that teacher’s page, showing contact and studio information. Teachers may include a maximum 500-word description of studio information, such as biography, preferred ages/levels, references, lesson formats, and a photo.

NOTE: Fees, discounts or free services may not be listed in your profile.

The annual fee for this service is $15, which is used for online advertising that specifically targets parents and students searching for music lessons. Your MTNA/ASMTA/PMTA membership must be current in order to be listed on our website. Studios with multiple teachers must pay $15 per teacher, payable by check only, and all listed teachers must be current PMTA members. Teachers joining between March 1 and June 1 pay a prorated fee of $7; teachers joining after June 1 are current through the following year. The yearly deadline for renewing is October 1st.
