Francisco Naranjo teaches out of his studio, 12 Note Piano Studio, located in the East Phoenix neighborhood of Arcadia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, Magna Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University, where he studied piano with Dr. Frank Scott. In addition to his studies at NAU, Mr. Naranjo studied abroad at the University of Granada in Granada, Spain, focusing on traditional Spanish music. He also participated in a Chinese Music and Culture Program at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China.
Mr. Naranjo enjoys teaching students of all ages ranging from 6 years old to adults. Most recently, he finished a five-year term teaching music to elementary, junior high, and high school students at a local charter school, where he established a class piano program.
Mr. Naranjo’s piano lessons provide students with the tools they need to develop a strong musical foundation at the piano, enabling them to successfully learn and explore from the vast array of music that exists for the piano.
Mr. Naranjo is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, Arizona State Music Teachers Association, Phoenix Music Teachers Association, and the Piano Guild. He currently serves as Treasurer on the Phoenix Music Teachers Association Board of Directors and is a member of the Piano Ensemble committee. Students of Mr. Naranjo are given the opportunity to participate in numerous piano events held by these organizations year round, Studio recitals are also scheduled throughout the year, enabling students to practice performing and share their musical talents with family and friends!
