Gwen Konves

Piano

Gwen is an experienced piano teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. Through her studio, Music of the Desert, she teaches students of all ages and levels, with a special focus on young beginners and preschool piano students.

Gwen believes that early piano instruction should be engaging, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate. She loves to use an animal-themed curriculum designed to help very young students learn foundational piano concepts through games, stories, movement, and hands-on activities. She also enjoys working with all ages and abilities and adapting instruction to meet the individual needs and learning styles of her students.
